ARTIST STATEMENT
To fully confront the innumerable, cacophonous oddities in one’s head is a challenge that not many can overcome. But there is a sense of relief that comes with taking control of these thoughts, if only for the smallest of instances. The pieces I create reflect an instinctual need to dissect my own insecurities and shortcomings – much of which are often pushed back into the forgotten recesses of my mind. By bringing forth such intangible notions into our realm of existence, I am able to obtain a better understanding of myself, and subsequently the human condition.
